Wildcard DNS on deplo.site. Any hostname with an IP address in it resolves to that IP address.
1-2-3-4.deplo.site A 1.2.3.4 app.10-0-0-7.deplo.site A 10.0.0.7 7f000001.deplo.site A 127.0.0.1
Same idea as sslip.io and nip.io, and it runs the sslip.io DNS server. It exists so that Deplo can hand every app a working hostname before anyone configures a domain.
What this domain does not do
It answers DNS queries. Nothing else. There is no proxy, no hosting and no storage here: whatever you reach through one of these hostnames is served by the machine at the IP address written in the hostname itself, run by someone we have no relationship with.
Reporting abuse
If a deplo.site hostname points at a phishing page, malware or any other
abusive content, that content is not on our servers. The fastest takedown
goes to whoever runs the IP address in the hostname: read the IP off the name, look up its
provider, send the report there.
Tell us as well and we will block that address in our resolver, usually within a day.
Include the full hostname, the timestamp and, if you have one, a screenshot or the URL.
A blocked address stops resolving for every name under deplo.site. Our machine
readable contact is in /.well-known/security.txt.
